Sabrina Gaeta is a Senior Associate and Executive Recruiter in the Accounting & Finance practice at Relate Search. With a background spanning financial services recruiting, retail leadership, and client relationship management, Sabrina is known for her optimism, persistence, and ability to uncover opportunities others might overlook. She thrives on building genuine relationships and understanding what truly motivates both clients and candidates.
Before joining Relate Search, Sabrina spent more than four years with Chicago-based recruiting firm Rekroot, where she specialized in banking, financial services, wealth management, and accounting recruitment. She advanced from Contract Recruiter to Senior Recruiter, leading retained searches for wealth management firms nationwide. Prior to recruiting, Sabrina spent a decade with Nordstrom, rising from Sales Associate to Store Leader while developing expertise in leadership, operations, customer experience, and team development.
At Relate Search, Sabrina partners with organizations to identify Accounting & Finance talent ranging from accountants and tax managers to controllers, directors of accounting, and chief accounting officers. She is passionate about connecting with passive candidates, building long-term partnerships, and creating placements that stand the test of time. Her thoughtful, transparent approach reflects her belief that recruiting is about helping people and organizations achieve lasting success.
Born in Peru, Illinois, Sabrina studied Fashion Merchandising at Dominican University before discovering her passion for recruiting. Outside of work, she enjoys CrossFit, running, reading, and traveling. A former exchange student in Norway, she has also lived in Spain and remains active with Rotary International, the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, and community organizations focused on youth mentorship and literacy. Sabrina and her longtime partner share their home with two French Bulldogs, Frankie and Louie, and three cats, Jeff, Jerry, and Gracie.
