With more than 10 years of experience in staffing, recruiting, and business services, Shyla has built a career around supporting people, solving problems, and helping organizations function at their best. Prior to joining Relate Search, she worked at Korn Ferry / Lucas Group, where she held roles including Administrative Assistant, Researcher, System Administrator, and Business Analyst, giving her a unique perspective on business operations and the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges, teams, and responsibilities.
Throughout her career, Shyla has earned a reputation as a trusted partner and dependable resource for executives, leaders, and teams across multiple business functions. She has supported presidents, market leaders, managing partners, and technology leaders while contributing to key operational initiatives, including ATS implementations, system redesigns, training programs, and process improvement efforts.
Known for her adaptability, commitment, and organizational skills, Shyla enjoys identifying solutions to operational pain points and helping others focus on what they do best. She takes pride in being the person people can turn to for support, guidance, and answers, and finds fulfillment in reducing daily stress for those around her.
Shyla earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Religious Studies from Grand Canyon University. Originally from Indiana, Shyla previously lived in Arizona and Georgia before returning home to Indiana. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Alex, their two sons, and her family’s growing collection of pets. An avid reader and sports fan, she enjoys following Formula 1, IndyCar racing, baseball, and hockey. Shyla is passionate about causes that support children and believes meaningful change begins with individuals choosing to make a difference.
