Taylor Archer is a Senior Associate and Executive Recruiter in the Technology practice at Relate Search. With more than 10 years of experience across recruiting and training, including four years in agency search, Taylor brings a relationship-driven and highly consultative approach to executive search. She is known for being direct, honest and genuinely invested in helping both clients and candidates make the right decisions.
Taylor’s recruiting career began with building, staffing and training teams in the restaurant and cinema industries before transitioning into agency search. Since then, she has partnered with organizations across technology and a range of industries including manufacturing, refining and petrochemical, financial services, hospitality and renewable energy. Her experience spans organizations across the U.S. and has given her a broad perspective on the people and teams that drive businesses forward.
At Relate Search, Taylor focuses on Technology search, working across the spectrum from specialized individual contributors and managers through Directors, VPs and C-level executives. She has worked closely with mid-market and growth-stage organizations and takes the time to understand not only the position being filled, but the people, culture and business behind it. Whether working with a client or a candidate, Taylor believes the best relationships are built on transparency, trust and straightforward communication. Her goal is to be someone people can rely on for an honest perspective, thoughtful guidance and a willingness to have the conversations others may avoid.
A Houston native, Taylor attended the University of Houston and has called Houston home throughout her life. Outside of work, she enjoys discovering new restaurants, building LEGO sets, traveling and cheering on the Astros, Texans, Rockets and Comets. She and her wife, Sydney, share their home with their dog, Saylor. Taylor is also passionate about causes that support children and has a somewhat less conventional accomplishment on her résumé: she once served as her high school’s panther mascot.
